Digiscoping (part 2)
I have been going out to the Celery Fields for a few morning now and it is still a lot of fun getting back into bird watching. There are a lot more predators than I saw in the North. I see at least one Eagle every morning, for example, and a variety of hawks.
Ducks: Hooded Mergansers, Blue Wing Teal, Shovelers, Mottled (a type of Mallard).
There are few things I’ve never seen before, like Limpkin, which are pretty common in this area.
But I’m fascinated by the Roseate Spoonbill. Here is one from yesterday that has more detail than the photo from a few days ago.
