Pose for the camera

This is the same Red Shouldered Hawk that is in the previous post.  I had spent a few hours at the Celery Fields with little to show for it and decided to take a longer way back to the main road.  On a small road with a few commercial buildings there were two hawks building a nest on the corner of a building that was right next to the road.  I probably looked a little weird to the people driving by, pointing the large lens supported with a monopod, at this nondescript building. When the hawk flew off it followed the road and sat on one of the fence posts that keep the cows in the pasture that runs along one side of the road.

It sat there for quite a while and let me park right next to it and take all the photos I wanted.  This is just one of many.
