Waking up

The Celery Fields wetland is sometimes a popular overnight area for groups of birds.  For a while there were large numbers of Whistling Ducks.  I would get there just at sun-up and see >150 Whistling Ducks leaving (commuting to their day residence?).  What a loud racket.

These Cattle Egrets were also spending the night.  Here is a photo of them warming themselves in the sun before they fly off.
