Blue Gray Gnatcatcher

The locations I go to for bird photography are the sorts of places you would usually see shore or wading birds but sometimes there are smaller birds that pass through on their way somewhere else.  It is interesting how the Warblers, for example, choose where to stop for a while in their migration.  There is a suburban park a mile or two from where I live that attracts migrating Warblers and is only a short distance from other similar parks that don’t have the same appeal for them.  Why they choose that one is a mystery.

I think this is the first Blue Gray Gnatcatcher I have ever seen at the Celery Fields nature area.
