feeding frenzy

The place I go to the most frequently,  the Celery Fields, is not actually a bird sanctuary but was created to provide flood management for the city.  When they lower the water level it creates pools of water that concentrate the fish and limits the areas of the tasty plants that birds like so you can sometimes get a situations that are shown in the photo.  There must have been at least 100 birds of various species eating like crazy in one small spot, and the photo is only a few of what was there.   It was good to see so many Roseate Spoonbills and Wood Storks again.
