Ibis – digital painting
I have been using an iPad app called Realistic Paint Studio to do some reasonably realistic looking oil paintings. In addition to creating the standard image, it lets you export the painting in a few different “settings”, including the one below. The painting took maybe 3 hours or so, excluding the time to just play around with the brushes so I could get used to the way they blend, etc. It doesn’t look too bad framed and displayed.
